…how are we to make them?

I want us to get back to work on stories soon, but first I thought I’d follow-up a little on last Sunday’s post about seeing problems in a work-in-progress as opportunities for a book to find its full expression.

These moments aren’t always grand, and, in my experience, you seldom know why, exactly, you end up choosing the “solution” that you do. 

Sometimes it’s just a matter of liking a certain thing better than another.
