Hi everyone,
So, over behind the paywall we are two sections into “CommComm” and having a good time. I invite you to come over.
And if anybody needs it, here’s the full text of the story:
I also wanted to share this wonderful interview that NPR did with a true genius, the composer Missy Mazzoli who is, as we speak, composing the score for an opera of Lincoln in the Bardo, that’s been commissioned by the Met for its 2025 season. Missy is working on this with her usual, and brilliant, librettist, Royce Vavrek.
In other news, I did the Vanity Fair “Proust Questionnaire,” this week and was also a guest on “Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me.”
Other than these things (and, well, during those things) I’ve been at home, working.
Thanks for being here.
Holy cow🌷😳😳😳 the Met. Can’t wait to see it! Congratulations. I’m so happy to be here. And I’m delighted to report my micro from one of your prompts “Farkhunda” is shortly going to be published 🎺🥂😎 It's live now. Editor just told me.
