Today we’ll take up Section 5, pages 209 – 213.

Again, thanks for being so game, and for your wonderful questions.  And I want to stress, yet again, how approximate this accounting is, and that the main activity I was involved in while writing this story was not thinking, deciding, planning or calculating, but revising, on a very micro-level.  And then every so often, I’d lift my head and feel (rather than think or decide): “Oh, right: now such-and-such could happen.”  Such an idea would just come to me. And then I’d test it out by trying it and revising it.
