Let’s talk a little about clarity today; especially clarity in physical description.
And let’s talk about it on two different levels.
Sometimes, the job is to describe something physically so that we can, in a minute, use it. We are making a world for the character to move through, in other words.
So, the first level concerns whether the reader can see/picture/imagine a physical reality we are offering.
Today, let’s try an exercise I just thought up, which may or may not work.
Let’s treat it as a collective experiment. :)
