Say, what are your thoughts on the state of literacy in the cosmos?

As we were working through “CommComm” it occurred to me that we have, here in Story Club, a remarkable resource, an incredible braintrust: thousands of highly articulate people interested in fiction, who have made it central to their lives.

So, it occurs to me to use this braintrust, and ask you all to reflect a bit on a few vital questions.
