Last time I proposed that we take a close look at the last movement of “The Gilded Six-Bits,” starting after the lines:
“Never no more breakfast to cook; no more washing and starching of Joe’s jumper-jackets and pants. No more nothing.”
Several of you have done taken an admirable run at this in the Comments. But I wanted to model a certain way I approach stories, when teaching them, whether these are classic stories or student stories we’re workshopping.
