Lovely wordplay Teri. "Appophobia"; has a ring in my inner ear and sounds lovely sounded aloud. Could there be mileage in stirring a story up around the notion of a community start-up known as "Appohobics Anonymous"?
Glad you found it Sherry. Its ok. Looks nice and works for reading and quick comments. But no comment edit, comment view choices or option for saving to reading list etc. Hopefully those features will be added but for now the browser is more flexible.
Not from your Windows Desktop I'd think Fred (and no mention of any plans for a Windows App - if there are such things) but being an Apple App I should think it should work in an iPad as well as an iPhone. In fact in writing this I've realised that maybe I can get access via my iPad (which I use mainly for browsing and reading online and for reading items in my Kindle Library).
Not an Apple user *, so I'll have to wait on the Android version, of the SCApp for my recently acquired SMART Digital Phone Device.
While I settle to waiting I'd be interested to know if the App has incorporated new 'Search' capabilities that are better than simply scrolling up and down conversation (perhaps even spearing across?) conversation threads.
Meanwhile I'm glad that George not only got beyond whatever Gremlin Glitches cause the temporary 'snafu' and that our Story Club Wagon is back on track and rumbling along those - for many of us - hitherto less taken roads that George invites us to travel along in good company with me.
* I was thinking iPhone, alone, when I was writing the above . . . not making the, I dare say, 'simple' connection that I do have and browse with an iPad.
And also like Navin it seems as though I've found my "special purpose" through the Story Club...
Except in the video do they swipe left and throw away Story Club ? sad....
I noticed that too! Not cool! :)
I noticed that, too... I was like nooooooo. That's the best one.
Very exciting! Now it will be easier to subscribe to even more newsletters without overfilling your email inbox 🤗 #ComedyIsTheBest
I actually like this app!
Why? If I may ask.
It makes it so easy!
Very nice indeed, I must say!
Now you’re all fancy
So glad we still have the email choice. I have, as I say, appophobia.

It's only 4 apple folks . . .
Let’s just hope “these cans AREN’T defective”! 😏 #LongLiveTheJerk
Waiting for Android.
Not available in the UK?

aaah - I was searching for the wrong thing - it's called 'substack reader' in case anyone else is also living in the Dark Ages...

That’s a great news! Maybe I could be more present ( less is impossible!) hi everyone from Italy! Paola
Ciao, Paola! 👋🏼
Hello Paola from Devon in England!
Is it phone only, or can I use the app from my windows Desktop, iPhone AND iPad?

I won’t be using the app much as All my story club activity is on my desktop computer. I loathe doing stuff like that on my phone
